Served as the SME Team Lead in the following areas:
- Redesigned and optimized HP "Systems Insight Manager" to monitor corporate infrastructure and 7-Eleven stores, enabling predictive hardware failure detection.
- Managed three McAfee EPO environments supporting Antivirus and Host Intrusion for approx. 16,000 devices. " Servers, Stores and Laptops"
- Led the migration from EMC Networker to HP Data Protector, safeguarding over 400TB of client data across NetApp and 3Par storage systems. Optimized SAN zoning with multi-pathing, significantly reducing backup times by 50% and achieving backup speeds of 2TB per second.
- Maintained Visio drawings, maps and documentation for use in diagnosing and managing the infrastructure.
- Managed the entire server side Enterprise bare metal backup solution for all the stand alone databases and files servers.
NOTABLE SAVINGS:
Saved $10K per month reduction in our expenses within the first year of employment through managing our Allen Datacenter Power and Space Planning.
Over 1$ Million Realized Savings through the work with HPSIM, resulting increased system stability and downtime prevention for the stores resulting being recognized with "employee of the year" award.
